Faster Movie starring Dwayne Johnson

Director George Tillman Jr (who once brought us Notorious) is working on Faster, an upcoming action drama movie starring Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, in the lead role as ex-con hellbent on avenging his brother's death. The film also stars Billy Bob Thornton and Carla Gugino as cops working to stop Johnson from completing his deadly to-do list. The release date of Faster is set for November 19, 2010.

Entertainment Tonight had the opportunity to talk to Actor Dwayne Johnson on the set of the movie Faster:

Plot:
"An ex-con is out to avenge his brother's death after they were double-crossed during a heist years ago."

Glad that Dwayne Johnson is back in a pure action movie! Those kid-friendly flicks he's been doing recently weren't that bad, but there is no denying that Dwayne Johnson deliver better performances when the story involves big cars, big guns, and big bullets, he is a man of action after all.

The plot of Faster may not sound that much original, but I'm confident it's going to Rock (pun intended).
